What are we thinking?
We cover a lot of different territory here at ID. Our interests are wide and varied - from writing and performing music to music recording and production, to digital signal processing to artificial intelligence, we've got opinions on many different topics, and generally aren't afraid to share them.
That's why we thought it was important to have an area of the site where we could post occasional articles relating to our thoughts on various current audio issues and other things. In the coming months look for our opinions on "high sample-rate recording", "seemingly intelligent randomly generated music", mentions of concerts, releases, artists or events we think are noteworthy, different audio compression schemes, and more.
We will aim to get to the heart of whatever matter we're discussing, and in the end, love it or not, our position on those issues will be clear.
We thrive on dialogue, so we look forward to seeing how this all turns out. Thanks for reading this, and stay tuned.

By all means, go ahead! You might consider linking the Wiki too (http://www.kerrygalloway.com/WikiPARIS/wikka.php?wakka=HomePage) - it's got a lot of self-help stuff and things that might be considered "FAQs". It's user editable, so if you want to log in and update your own entry and ID's when you have a chance (or if you want to fix anything I've got egregiously wrong), please feel free.
Thanks for making such a great rig. I'd hope Stephen would feel some pleasure to see the loyalty that this part of his legacy inspired - and how well its sonics have stood the test of time.

You know what they say, hope springs eternal! ;)
Is it ok if we put a link to the forums in the news section for other users who may be searching but not finding them?

Hey Edmund! Excellent to see the updates to the pro audio side of the site. We're still holding the torch aloft for PARIS over at the new PARIS forums - http://kerrygalloway.com/ParisForums - it's still holding its head high amongst all but the most boutique of today's digital audio offerings sonically (which is really saying something well over a decade on). Come by and visit - and a heartfelt "welcome back" to the world of pro audio!
