Year End Wrap Up
It's been a very exciting year for us. We built a new website, launched not one, not two, but three new products, got a bunch of really nice reviews and most recently made a version of MegaDelayMass for Computer Music UK to give away (aka MegaDelayMassCM - and there was much rejoicing)
I thought it might be a good time to look over some of the nice things that were written about our work over the past six months - it's hard to believe that this has all been happening only since June!
So, as it happened...
July:
First off, Electronic Musician has a monthly podcast and we're in in July we were in it, near the end - around 25:50. Also, we were in MIX magazine online. Nice!
August:
David Gamson (of Scritti Politti and Producer/Songwriter/Arranger/Engineer fame) and Barry Rudolph (contributing editor for MIX Magazine and 'New Toys' columnist for L.A.'s Music Connection Magazine.) wrote a very thoughtful and positive review of our new Marshall Time Modulator plug-in. Read it here.
September
In September Our Marshall Time Modulator plug-in received a 9/10 from Computer Music UK - They had a few nice things to say, including: "... superb spacious ethereal effects... MTMs vinatge emulation hits the spot, making it a great compliment to modern delay and modulation effects"
See it in digital print here!
A few weeks later, Music Radar gave the Marshall Time Modulator plug-in 4.5 out of 5 stars! Go see!
About 10 days later another nice review - this time of MegaDelayMass:
"Playing around with its settings on various audio sources I found the plug-in to be very musical. It invites you to find sounds you haven’t heard before." - rekkerd.org
November:
Continuing our plug-ins love affair with Computer Music UK, they gave MegaDelayMass 8/10 stars calling it "An enormously creative effect".
See the digital version of the review here
Also, their DVD contains a FREE special version of MegaDelayMass we made for them called MegaDelayMassCM - and they include a 3 page tutorial in the magazine to explain how to use it.
A week later, MusicRadar.com gave MegaDelayMass 4/5 stars, calling it "A multi-tap delay on steroids"
December
Finally - Computer Music UK gave Music Radar gave Slip-N-Slide 4.5/5 stars calling it "Another weird and wonderful offering from Intelligent Devices
What a year!
We thank all of the people who been so supportive this year, and look forward to a bunch of exciting new products, projects and prospects for the coming year!
Seasonably yours,
the ID crowd.
